CoolGlide Vein therapy for the Face & Body

How does CoolGlide Therapy Work?
The CoolGlide system delivers pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body. blood flow will then be redirected to veins deeper below your skin's surface, where it should be.

What types of veins can be treated?

The Coolglide can remove unsightly veins from all parts of the body. Small, facial veins can be treated quickly without bruising or complication. Spider veins and large blue leg veins can also be treated with excellent results. Knotty varicose veins are not good candidates. A careful evaluation will help you determine which vessels can be treated and the best course of treatment.

What about blood blisters and port wine stains?
Blood blisters or “hemangiomas” respond very well to vein therapy, usually with just one treatment. Patients with port wine stains and other vascular lesions who had given up on finding a solution have been overwhelmed by the success of their vascular treatments.

How many treatments do I need?

Often, patients find that one or two treatments are sufficient. However, the number of treatments necessary depends on the number, color, and size of the vessels being treated. Since individual results vary, ask your medical professional about your specific condition.

Before and After

Our procedure is a non-invasive medical technology that uses light therapy to eliminate varicose veins, spider veins on legs and face, as well as other vascular conditions.

What does it do?
Safely eliminates unattractive veins without injections or surgery.

How does it work
Our procedure generates intense pulsed light which safely destroys unsightly visible veins so they fade and slowly disappear. Treatment is applied by placing a hand-held treatment unit on your skin.

How many treatments are required?
Usually 3 or more treatments are required depending on the severity and density of veins. Each Session generally lasts 15-20 minutes.

Can all types of leg veins be treated?
Your doctor can determine if your condition is suitable for the treatments.

Will treatment hurt?
We use light rather than needles or incisions. The treatment feels like a pinch or a snap of an elastic band. Local anesthesia or pain medication is not required.

Are there side effects?
You may experience some side effects which generally last only a short time. This include slight reddening of the skin or local swelling which goes away within a few days. In rare instances there may be transitory blistering or burning. longer lasting side effects may include temporary changes in skin color, which last up to several months.
