Laser Genesis skin therapy is an innovative, technologically advanced way to promote vibrant and healthy looking skin in men and women. Now you can have a youthful appearance by treating those conditions that are typically associated with premature signs of aging and sun damage, such as excessive redness, large pores, uneven texture, and fine-line wrinkles. The Laser Genesis procedure has been scientifically proven to produce new collagen.

The Laser Genesis Difference
The Laser Genesis procedure utilizes laser technology to safely, discretely and effectively treat scars and diffuse and excessive redness. Laser Genesis is a comfortable, non-ablative, non-invasive form of skin therapy. Doctors and patients have noticed dramatic improvements in uneven skin texture, large pores, and fine line wrinkles. You can expect to see subtle yet consistent results after each treatment, without unwanted side effects such as bruising or excessive skin irritation. your therapy can be performed in a relaxed, comfortable manner without the use of topical anesthetics or gel.

What area can be treated?
Laser Genesis patients report excellent results over their entire faces and necks. Additionally, practitioners may suggest this therapy to diminish recent scars on other parts of the body.

STEP #1 - Laser Genesis
Diffuse redness is a general appearance of facial redness, such as rosy cheeks. This condition is caused by dilated capillaries, resulting in an appearance of general redness, not discrete, well-defined vessels. the most commonly affected area are the nose, forehead and cheeks. Diffuse redness is often associated with a condition called rosacea and it can be hereditary. Laser Genesis therapy will help your appearance by gently treating and reducing this condition.

STEP #2 - RejuveLux
Pigmented lesions (sunspots or age spots) occur in response to sun-induced skin injury and appear as dark brown circles, known as Solar Lentigines. there can also be diffuse browning of the skin, known as Actinic bronzing.

Vascular Lesions - superficial blue red, or purple veins under the skin's surface. some common types include rosacea (facial inflammation) and spider veins (tiny vessels that appear near the surface of the face).

Before and After

What areas can be treatment?
Virtually any part of your body with uneven skin tone, diffuse redness, or sun and age spots can be safely treated. The face, chest, shoulders, and arms are the most popular areas for treatment because they have typically had the most sun exposure. Discrete brown spots, excessive ruddy complexions, and skin densely covered with freckles respond well to treatment.

What does the treatment do?
The visible light delivered by this procedure is selectively absorbed by the pigmented spots and red areas on your skin. It's the heating of the pigmented cells that causes the therapeutic effect.

Will I need to have an anesthetic?
No. Unlike others, the treatment requires no topical anesthetic or gel before treatment. Gel is messy, time consuming, and uncomfortable.

What do treatments feel like?
When the hand piece is places on your skin, it will feel cool and comfortable. When the pulse of light is delivered, you may feel a mild, brief pinching sensation.

How long will the treatment take?
The actual treatment will only take a few minutes. Since there is no need to apply gel or any topical anesthetic, your total appointment time can easily fit within your lunch hour.

How many treatments will I need?
Typically, one or two treatments are sufficient to see dramatic results. Additional treatments may be required for very large or dark spots, densely freckled areas, or excessively sun damaged skin.

What happens after the treatment?
Immediately following the treatment, the spots may start to darken. You may notice a slight reddening of the surrounding skin. This typically subsides within a couple of hours. Over the course of the next on to three weeks, darkened spots will fade and flake off. Your mottled complexion will clear.

When will I see results?
Many patients see significant improvement within two to three weeks of treatment. However, your final result may not be apparent for a month or more.

Will the spots and redness reappear over time?
Over time new spots may appear if there is sufficient sun exposure. These too can be removed. Remember to liberally apply sunscreen when outdoors to minimize sun damage and the appearance of new spots and excessive redness.
